Right now, our country is hurting from the economic impact of the coronavirus. More than 20 million Americans have lost their jobs, including tens of thousands in Oklahoma. I’m confident we’ll turn it around—just look at last month’s jobs report—but make no mistake: coronavirus has hurt our economy.

Democrats want to point fingers at the president, but the blame is squarely with China. Why? The communist Chinese government covered up the COVID-19 outbreak for MONTHS, costing us time to prepare for and contain the virus. When it reached the United States, state governments were left with no choice but to temporarily lock down their economies.

We need to hold China accountable for their behavior.
