Last week, David Hogg, a DNC vice chair, announced that his PAC, Leaders We Deserve, is launching a $20 million campaign that will include supporting younger, progressive candidates to run in primaries against incumbent Democrats.
It’s a bold initiative, and we want to understand how our movement feels about primarying Democratic incumbents who lack the grassroots support and fighting spirit needed to defeat Trump.

A recent poll confirms that the vast majority of Democrats agree with Bernie—72% support abandoning a cautious, centrist approach when confronting Trump and his far-right allies.
If we're going to meet the urgency of Trump’s renewed threat, we cannot sit back and wait for the Democratic Party establishment to get serious about building the kind of inclusive, energized movement our moment demands: we have no choice but to transform the Democratic Party from within.
