John,
In a world that increasingly feels siloed and fractured, the protests we saw across the country Saturday -- and in the weeks previous -- show us how much of a community there is out there, working every day to invest in the future of our democracy.
We can't let the antics of opponents of voting rights at the federal and state level make us feel less empowered to create the change we want to see at home in our communities.
It's something even our team has struggled with -- how, as just one person, it can feel almost inconsequential as you try and fight these seemingly titanic forces. But even the small things, in your neighborhood, at your school, in your community, with your friends and family -- they all make a difference.
Don't believe us? Look up when the next election is where you live. It's probably before the 2026 primaries. Just knowing when the next election is gives you knowledge and time to tell neighbors, tell friends, register a family member, and so much more. We have a whole suite of voter tools you can use to inform yourself and register others. [[link removed]]
Elections are won by those who show up. Speaking up at a town meeting makes your voice heard and might change the course of events. Registering one more voter might change the course of a local election. Ask yourself: What can you do today, or this week, or before the end of the month to make a difference? How will you show up?
Thank you for all that you already do,
The Voter Action Project Team

Integrity First Voter Action Project is dedicated to expanding ballot access and increasing voter participation across the country.
Since the Supreme Court gutted key provisions in the Voting Rights Act, extreme politicians have taken advantage to pass harsh laws that restrict access to the ballot box. These restrictions particularly affect disadvantaged communities and people of color. It’s our goal to bring awareness to these laws wherever they may crop up and organize voters to take action to ensure the right to vote is available to everyone in their states and communities.
Your support is crucial to our efforts. Will you donate today to help us protect voting rights? [[link removed]]
