Early Voting: April 22 – 29
Election Day: Saturday, May 3
Runoff Election Day (as applicable): Saturday, June 7
At True Texas Project, we ask our local leadership teams as well as other trusted resources to vet and make recommendations for local elected offices. We are NOT telling you how to vote. It’s just a good place for you to start your own research. Many times, we just frankly aren’t excited about any of the candidates, but we all still have to pick one to mark on our ballots. We do our best to help you with those difficult decisions. With that in mind, please note that our recommendations are just that: recommendations. They are NOT endorsements. Only when our leadership teams are unanimous in their belief that a candidate will represent True Texans well will we mark it as an endorsement.
Also, as a rule of thumb, we recommend a “NO” vote on all bonds. Until the government learns to handle the money we already entrust to them, we do not believe we should give them any more.
REMEMBER TO LOOK FOR ALL RACES IN YOUR AREA.
THIS MAY INCLUDE ISDs, CITY COUNCILS, COLLEGE BOARDS, WATER DISTRICTS, ETC.
This list can be found on our website and is updated regularly.
Only contested races (races with more than one candidate) are listed.
