We’re more than half-way through Autism Acceptance Month and we at ASAN hope that you have had some time to enjoy the little things this April. As members of the community continue streaming to raise money for ASAN, we have been working hard behind the scenes on Action Alerts, preparing for Autism Campus Inclusion in July, and supporting our affiliates as we work together to save Medicaid. Nothing we do would be possible without support from our grassroots — including you!
As we continue our work throughout this month, there seems to be an ever growing list of things that need to be done. The work feels daunting, but we know that as long as we have support from advocates like yourself, this is work we can get done. Each contribution, be it a single donation or a monthly membership, gives ASAN the power to utilize the passion from our supporters to create change. This month we crunched some numbers and want to share the exact difference each donation can make!
- A single $30 donation provides books for one Autism Campus Inclusion student.
- $25 a month covers CART services for one Disability Day of Mourning Vigil.
- One donation of $32 takes one of our action alerts and puts it in plain language, increasing its accessibility.
- Joining at our Public Policy Pals membership tier not only gets you an exclusive t-shirt for the graphic below, but provides a full hour of training for every ACI participant.
However you can give, now is the time! Press start today and become a Super Self Advocate!
