ON EDUCATION

FIRST:
Donald Trump signed an Executive Order dismantling the Department of Education, putting billions of dollars in funding at risk.

THEN
Gov. Tony Evers and Gov. Tim Walz, both former teachers, filed a lawsuit to STOP Trump’s plan and protect public education. Gov. Evers even said “I call bullshit.”

ON HEALTH CARE

FIRST:
Trump, DOGE and HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. slashed state public health and mental health funding.

THEN
DGA Vice Chair Gov. Andy Beshear joined a multi-state lawsuit to protect this critical funding, declaring “if we have to go to court, we will.

ON PROTECTING OUR FREEDOMS

FIRST:
Trump targeted Gov. Janet Mills and Maine for not falling in line with his personal demands by trying to illegally withhold federal funding that goes to feeding children.

THEN:
Gov. Mills refused to back down. She sued Trump and WON – a federal judge just ruled the Trump administration must unfreeze the funds.

NOW:
Dem govs are ready to keep pushing back and serving as the last line of defense. But they need to know that you’re standing with them in this critical moment, team!
