Breaking: Republicans are trying to make it harder for millions of people to vote. Sign the petition now to urge your senators to vote NO on the SAVE Act.

House Republicans unanimously voted yes to move forward an extreme, Trump-backed bill that would disenfranchise millions of voters. This is blatant voter suppression, and there's a real risk of it becoming law unless we come together to stop it.¹

If the SAVE Act passes in the Senate, that means every person registering to vote or updating their voter registration would have to show up in person to prove their citizenship by providing their birth certificate or passport—documents that currently 21 million people don’t have readily available.²

The SAVE Act would impose major hurdles to voting for low-income voters and the millions upon millions of people who have ever changed their last name through marriage, as well as young people, rural communities, people living on tribal lands, unhoused people, and, disproportionately, people of color.

Congress should be making voting easier and more accessible for Americans. Instead, Republicans are putting their time and resources into stripping away voting rights and making it harder for people to make their voices heard. Enough!

We have just weeks to stop Republicans in the Senate from voting yes and sending this bill to President Trump’s desk. Sign the petition now to tell your senator to vote NO on the SAVE Act!

The SAVE Act is nothing but blatant voter suppression and fearmongering promoted as a way to have “safe and secure” elections. The MAGA narrative of voter fraud has been debunked time and time again!^3,4  There are ways to streamline voting to make it easier and more accessible for people to cast their ballots—this would do the opposite, creating chaos for individuals and election officials across the country.
