We're excited to celebrate with you at our Meet the Moment gala, a theme we chose to honor our past and present fights for the livable future we all deserve.
Over the years, we've seen how the runaway corporate takeover of our political system have created dire conditions for communities across the country. We're up against a hard political climate that caters to the billionaire class while everyday people suffer under skyrocketing rents, climate chaos, and unaffordable neighborhoods.
But we were made for this moment, Friend. Our organization has experienced political attacks and tough fundraising times as far back as our ACORN days, but we have risen time and time again with the power of our members, allies, and supporters in this movement.
While we may not have billions of dollars at our disposal, what we do have is priceless: The power of people organizing for a more equitable, affordable, and just New York.
