In Trump’s latest version of America, legal residents who have committed no crime can be snatched up off the street and deported with zero due process, while violent extremists who attacked the U.S. Capitol walk free.
Meals on Wheels are defunded and kids on Medicaid are stripped of coverage, while the world’s richest man can unilaterally gut entire federal agencies and hand himself a never-ending gravy train of lucrative government contracts.
People who have worked their whole lives are watching their modest retirement accounts shrink while Trump and his billionaire buddies cash in on flagrant insider trading. As the warning goes: It can happen here. It is happening here.
This is Trump’s America. But he can be stopped.
Because the American people didn’t vote for this, and the grassroots backlash is growing stronger by the day.
