Out of control corporate power has been killing the American Dream, hurting small businesses and those entrepreneurs, hurting workers, hurting all of us as consumers.

That’s why this week, I joined colleagues down in Washington to launch the 'Monopoly Busters Caucus.' Our focus is taking on the corporate power that is stifling growth and ripping off workers, small businesses, and consumers.

Small businesses are so important to our country, our regions, and our main streets. These are often the lifeblood of our communities.

But they’ve been getting the crap kicked out of them by monopolies. And Republicans are too deep in the pockets of huge corporations to do anything about price gouging and rising costs. Their answer is just more handout tax cuts for them.

That’s why corporate profits are skyrocketing, but working families are struggling to make ends meet.
