Friend—

PETA President Ingrid Newkirk's birthday is tomorrow, and we want this to be one
of her best birthdays yet. But it won't be the same without a special message from
you!

The deadline is tonight—and we haven't quite hit our goal of getting 7,100
supporters' signatures to celebrate her 71st birthday. Please take a moment to add
your name and thank Ingrid for all that she's achieved for animals.

Thank you!

Dear Friend,

When Ingrid Newkirk launched PETA in 1980, she knew that if people saw the many
ways animals are abused and exploited, society's attitudes toward them would
change. Fast-forward to today and speciesism is one of the hottest topics around
the world.

Ingrid's 71st birthday is this week, and I'm hoping to celebrate by sharing with
her birthday greetings from thousands of kind PETA supporters who've been
inspired by her life's work for animals.

Friend, will you add a special message to our card
for Ingrid before her birthday on June 11? I know she'd be thrilled to receive your birthday wishes!

As a PETA supporter, you've likely heard about her many notable accomplishments,
including her work in India—her childhood home—where she founded Animal Rahat,
an organization that improves the lives of tens of thousands of abused and
neglected animals each year.

I've had the privilege of seeing firsthand how Animal Rahat rushes to the aid of
some of the most overworked animals in the world. From caring for the residents
of its peaceful, 10-acre sanctuary to scouting the streets for abused or injured
animals, its team of experts works 24/7/365—through monsoon floods and pandemic
lockdowns—to help bullocks, horses, donkeys, dogs, camels, cats, and others who
have no one else to count on.

Today, the team is rescuing animals of all sizes who tumble into dangerous open
wells, getting exhausted donkeys and bullocks out from under heavy loads by
replacing them with tractors, and providing community dogs and cats with meals,
rabies vaccinations, and spay/neuter surgeries. Team members work around the
clock responding to emergency calls when animals are in peril—freeing birds
trapped in glue traps or kite string, releasing illegally captured wildlife such
as rabbits and monitor lizards, and helping dogs whose heads become trapped in
gates, fences, or containers as they scrounge for food.

Of course, founding Animal Rahat is just one fantastic accomplishment among
many! Ingrid has dedicated her every waking hour to making our world a kinder
place and inspiring others to do the same.

Please join me in celebrating Ingrid and all her tremendous contributions to
animal rights around the world by adding your name and a special note to her
birthday card right now.

Thank you for your support and for everything that you do to help animals.

Sincerely,

Tracy Reiman
Executive Vice President
