# He is Risen

### A Prayer for Easter Sunday

Father,

The grave is empty. The stone is rolled away. And death has lost its grip.

“He is not here; for He is risen, as He said.” (Matthew 28:6)

This is the morning that changed everything. The silence of Saturday has given way to the shout of victory.

Jesus Christ has risen from the dead — and with Him, hope rose too.

Thank You for the cross. Thank You for the blood. But today, we thank You for the breakthrough.

For the morning light. For the joy that cannot be buried.

Let this resurrection joy rise in us. Let it shake off the weight of sorrow. Let it silence the voice of fear. Let it stir again what we thought was lost.

Today we remember the women who ran to the tomb— expecting to mourn, but encountering glory.

We remember the angel who spoke with power:

“Do not be afraid… He is risen from the dead.” (Matthew 28:5–6)

We remember the trembling disciples who were met not with shame, but with peace.

Let us carry that same message into our world — not a religion of rules, but a Savior who walked out of the grave and still walks with us today.

Let this Easter not be routine. Let it be revival. Let joy rise higher than our doubts.

Let hope burn brighter than our past. Let love run deeper than our pain.

Because Jesus lives — we live.

Because He overcame — we overcome.

Because He rose — we rise too.

This is not just history. This is the heartbeat of everything we believe.

And we declare it with everything we are:

He is risen. He is risen, indeed.

In the name of the Risen King — Jesus Christ,

Amen
