Trump wants to send us back to a time before environmental laws

We’re not going to let President Trump drag us back half a century to a world of contaminated drinking water and toxic waste in neighborhoods. Environmental laws have made our lives safer and healthier. Earthjustice will fight for them in court.

15 years after the Deepwater Horizon disaster

The Deepwater Horizon disaster killed 11 workers and released millions of barrels of oil into the Gulf of Mexico for 87 days, making it one of the worst oil spills in U.S. history. Gulf resident, JJ Waters, talks about how the spill “shattered” her community’s way of life.

Our coastal communities deserve safety and good health, economic resilience, and functional ecosystems. Tell Congress to protect all our oceans from the dangers of oil and gas drilling.

An oil tunnel is threatening the Great Lakes

The Line 5 pipeline has already leaked over 1 million gallons of oil to date and threatens the Great Lakes. This could be our last chance to stop one company’s dangerous plans to keep the oil flowing.

“We were ready for a year of growth and now, with the funding freeze, we are in a year of ‘Let’s hold on to what we have.’”

Earlier this year, the Trump administration froze two of the nonprofit’s grants, leaving the farmers in limbo. Earthjustice is fighting back alongside impacted communities nationwide.
