Hi there,
My name is Kyle Sweetser, and I’m running for the United States Senate.
America was founded on freedom. But today, too many people work 40+ hours a week and barely make enough for rent. They’re not free, and if they live in Alabama, they have a senator who doesn’t even live in the same state. We deserve better.
I’m running to replace Tommy Tuberville, a senator who blocked over 400 military promotions and has been called the most uninformed, least effective member of Congress. He’s a national embarrassment, and Alabama deserves better.
We need honest, everyday working people in Washington. We need real representatives, not party pawns. Honest people who welcome accountability and transparency. That’s how we save the American Dream.
Team, this is a fight we can win, but only if we work together. Can you split a donation between my campaign and iVote Fund today to help?
If you work hard, you should be able to own a home and raise a family. Yet, too many Americans are feeling economic anxiety and fear. Costs continue to rise, and wages don’t keep up, while big corporations make record profits and scheme to become monopolies.
I understand this more than most.
My mother grew up in public housing and relied on veterans’ benefits, Social Security, and expired food from the nearby prison. My father grew up not knowing where he would get his next meal. He didn’t even know his date of birth until he applied for a driver’s license. They met in high school and got married the summer they turned 18. He installed cable while she worked at Sears, each earning $3 an hour.
I'm the youngest of three children raised in Mobile. I attended the United States Military Prep School and went on to play football at West Point until an injury cut my career short. When the 2008 recession hit, I returned home to help keep my parents' business afloat—ultimately guiding it from the Yellow Pages to the Internet. Helping build our American Dream.
When the Deepwater Horizon rig exploded off the coast of Alabama in 2010, I joined a special task force with the Coast Guard as a civilian small boat captain in rough seas, dragging booms to protect the beaches from incoming oil.
That’s where I come from, and I’ve worked every day to honor that legacy.
But right now, Alabama is hurting. Grocery prices are up. Wages are stuck. Folks can barely afford to live, while billionaires and big corporations are making more money than ever.
That’s why I’m running for Senate. If you can, split a donation between iVote Fund and my campaign today to help us make the American Dream a reality.
I hope you’ll join me. We are stronger together.
Thank you,
Kyle
