I never got to use a toilet seat. Instead, we had to share a hole in the ground with 8 other families.

I was raised on food rationing coupons in the Sichuan province of China during Mao’s Cultural Revolution. I was only a child, yet I worshiped him like a God.

I had no other choice. I was brainwashed. We all were.

Eventually, I was able to escape from China and flee to the United States.

I spent the next 20 years uninstalling everything Mao’s regime had programmed into my brain, only to discover the very same evil was now being promoted in America and celebrated by the radical left.

Then it hit me. I wasn’t just a product of the American Dream - I was also a survivor of Communist rule.

My name is Lily Tang Williams, and I’m the Republican running for Congress in New Hampshire's 2nd Congressional District.

My story, my voice, and my campaign endanger everything the Democrats have built their party on - I don’t fit their mold.
