John,
On Tax Day, we didn’t stay silent. We organized, rallied, and protested against those who voted to set the stage for the GOP’s Billionaire Budget.
From suburban swing districts to the steps of Capitol Hill, we’re demanding an end to GOP giveaways for billionaires and calling out Congress’s outrageous Billionaire Budget. This is a budget that looks to cut food assistance, Medicaid, and veterans’ benefits, just to keep the Trump tax scam alive for the ultra-rich.[1]
They passed their budget resolution. Then left town for a two-week vacation. That’s how little they care about the millions of people who will suffer if this billionaire-funded agenda becomes law.[2]
We’re not backing down. And with your support, we’ll make sure every member of Congress knows that we’re watching and we’re fighting back.
Can you chip-in $5 or more to help us keep the pressure on and fight back against the GOP’s Billionaire Budget?
We’ve been making headlines, briefing media in English and Spanish, publishing op-eds, and appearing on outlets like C-SPAN to lay out the devastating impacts of this budget.[3][4] Check out David’s email below to see his op-ed and a recent TV appearance.
But it’s your support that fuels this resistance. We can’t continue to hold rallies, mobilize communities, and expose the truth without your help.
Every dollar you give helps us fight back against this Billionaire Budget and defend the services working people rely on.
Please make a donation right now to keep the fight going as we work to stop this budget from becoming law.

John,
Just before skipping town for a two-week recess, House Republicans passed a budget resolution that lays the groundwork for more massive tax handouts to the ultra-wealthy and brutal cuts to services working families rely on.[1]
So this past week, we fought back. We hit the streets with our partners nationwide on Tax Day to protest this Billionaire Budget that would slash Medicaid, food assistance, and much more to pay for Trump’s tax scam.
What we’re seeing nationwide is real people standing up—parents, veterans, nurses, school teachers, retirees, and more—demanding a fair tax system.
The facts are staggering: the GOP’s plan would greenlight up to $5.3 trillion in tax breaks, mostly for the richest individuals and corporations, and it would gut Medicaid by $880 billion and rip $230 billion out of SNAP.[2]
Tens of millions would lose healthcare and food assistance, all so billionaires can hoard more wealth. And their justification? They claim they’re balancing the budget, but they’re really paying for more handouts to Elon Musk and his billionaire buddies, disguising their tax scam using phony math designed to protect the wealth of their billionaire and multimillionaire donors.
We’re exposing this con for what it is: theft. And we're taking the fight directly to lawmakers in their home districts. But to keep up this pressure and prepare for what’s next, we need your help right now.
Chip in $15, $25, or whatever you can to power our campaign against this Billionaire Budget.
We’re also turning up the heat in the media. I co-authored an op-ed with Doreen Greenwald, president of the National Treasury Employees Union, revealing that proposed IRS cuts could cost average Americans a fortune while letting billionaire tax cheats walk free.[3]
And then I joined C-SPAN to dismantle the lies behind this tax scam in real time.[4]
The GOP’s goal is simple: use the reconciliation process to jam this budget through without a single Democratic vote. But that’s not inevitable, not if we make their billionaire loyalty a political liability in every single district.
With your help, we can ramp up the pressure and the on-the-ground organizing we need to make sure everyone knows exactly what’s at stake.
This is the moment. Let’s make sure they don’t get away with it. Please make a donation right now to help us fight back and stop this Billionaire Budget before it’s too late.
