In this season, I know many Americans are feeling powerless. But I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t see the possibility of a different future emerging in this very moment.

The president’s choices are not popular. And America will respond, if offered a clear and convincing alternative path for our politics and economy.

Wherever you fall politically, we can’t accept the idea of one person holding absolute power over our government, economy, and society. That’s not how America works, and we must build a different, better, freer future.

This is a test—calling the American people to meet this moment. We can do so by taking action, speaking up, and showing up in every way we can.
