I should’ve been another statistic in a textbook...



My name is Lilly Tang Williams, and I was born to poor working-class parents
in China just before Mao’s Cultural Revolution.My childhood was full of
poverty, chaos, and communist indoctrination.



After Mao died in 1976, I attended university to study law, and that was when
I met an American student.What he showed me forever changed my life – a
pocket-sized U.S. Constitution.



Ever since that day, I dreamed of reaching the Land of the Free.



And in 1988, I made it. I arrived in America with $100 in my pocket and a
massive smile.


In the decades since arriving in this great country, I’ve earned my
citizenship, got married, raised three children, started a business, and rid
myself of CCP indoctrination.

But I’ve watched as woke politicians locked us down, closed small businesses,
inflated our money, and mortgaged our children’s future.



Now, I’m running for Congress to fight for the American Dream.
