Please pray for our teams in Africa and Europe, that they would enjoy a restful and joyful Easter holiday. May they be deeply reminded of Christ’s never-ending mercies, and may the power of Christ continue to transform their lives as they work for His glory.
Latin America
Praise God for the recent meetings in El Salvador where IJM brought together community partners with the Supreme Court to strengthen collaboration in support of survivors of violence. Pray for ongoing unity and effectiveness as these partnerships work to improve aftercare services and increase access to justice through trained community-based advocates.
South Asia
Praise God for a successful training for 43 key officials who combat bonded labor slavery. IJM got the opportunity to train these officials across every district for one of our state programs. Today, they are better equipped to identify bonded labor and human trafficking, bring victims to safety, and support survivors’ rehabilitation. Please pray for more opportunities to train local authorities on the front lines in these crucial topics!
Asia Pacific
Praise God for the convictions of two traffickers in the Philippines who were sentenced to 27 and 22 years in prison for crimes including attempted trafficking and possession of child sexual abuse material. These convictions stemmed from two earlier rescue operations led by the Women and Children Protection Center – Mindanao Field Unit of the Philippine National Police, which freed multiple children from online sexual exploitation. Please pray for continued justice for survivors and for their ongoing healing and restoration.
