Every day, the news from the White House gets more and more disturbing. It is now being reported that Trump wants to deport American citizens to prisons abroad.
This is not a joke: Trump has stated, “The homegrowns are next, the homegrowns. You've got to build about five more places," when discussing his proposal to send American citizens to a notorious mega prison called CECOT with El Salvador's dictator, Nayib Bukele.
This is just the latest in the Trump administration’s work to send us into a constitutional crisis – they have been attacking the courts, media, and universities, replacing civil service workers with MAGA loyalists, discrediting elections, trampling due process rights, extracting silence and complicity from GOP lawmakers and now this: threatening to deport U.S. Citizens.
