At a time
when families are working harder than ever to make ends meet, Trump wants
to raise their costs.

Let’s call this what it is: a Trump tax on Granite Staters.

We’ve seen this before. Trump’s last round of tariffs drove up costs for
small businesses and working families, while doing next to nothing to help
American manufacturing.

Now he’s doubling down on the same failed approach, and Granite Staters
will be the ones paying the price.

At a time when families are already stretched thin, Trump’s plan would
make it harder to afford essentials. It’s wrong, it’s reckless, and it’s
proof that national Republicans are more interested in staying on Trump’s
good side than doing what’s right for the people they serve.

That’s why I’m fighting back.

In Congress I’ve worked to lower costs – from prescription drugs to energy
bills – and to support small businesses and local manufacturers. And once
elected to the Senate, I’ll never stop fighting for an economy that works
for everyone, not just billionaires and big corporations.
