Want change? Protest. That’s the best way to get it. When we the people take action, we can stop wars, save ecosystems and alter the course of society.
But can we change the world? We can. And we’ll be doing it on Earth Day, April 22, when over a billion of us will take part in our planet’s biggest secular day of protest and action. We’ll be planting trees, cleaning beaches, pitching in at community gardens and much more.
Want to join us? A good place to start is EarthDay.org, where you’ll find resources you can use to educate, advocate and mobilize. One easy, meaningful step you can take right now is to pledge an Earth Action on social media: share what you’re doing on Earth Day and encourage others to get involved.

Here’s another step you can take.
Switch to CREDO Mobile, the one phone company that cares about our planet as much as you do. We’ve been fighting for a better world on Earth Day—and every day—since our founding, over 40 years ago.
We’re not like other companies. We don’t flip the green switch when it’s politically correct. And we don’t switch it off when the political winds shift.
“It’s not a day, it’s a movement.”
That’s the Earth Day motto. We couldn’t agree more. And we’re committed to the movement.
To date, we’ve donated over $95 million to progressive nonprofits fighting for change, with a large share of it going to environmental groups like Friends of the Earth, Defenders of Wildlife and Rainforest Action Network.
