Fellow Conservative,

Following a jam-packed couple weeks, Congress is in recess in observance of Easter. Although no legislation is moving, behind the scenes there are high-stakes negotiations ongoing over the budget reconciliation gameplan. As Congress prepares to draft this hugely consequential bill, it is crucial that the grassroots make their voices heard.
Take Action: Tell Congress to Stand with President Trump
The American people delivered a resounding mandate at the ballot box. Now it’s time for Republicans in Congress to go on offense and work with President Trump to restore America — and the clock is ticking.
>>> Take Action: Tell Congress to stand with President Trump and pass a strong reconciliation package HERE.<<< <[link removed]>
Budget reconciliation is the prime way for the new Congress to enact President Trump’s agenda and avoid Democrat obstruction in the Senate. Using reconciliation, Congress can:

- Secure the Border
- Unleash American energy
- Dismantle the Department of Education
- Cut spending
- Preserve and expand tax cuts

The House and Senate have already completed the first step in the process by passing a budget resolution. Now the real work begins, and we are counting on you to make your voice heard.

Have You Been Censored by Big Tech?
Free speech is a sacred and fundamental right protected by the First Amendment. Unfortunately, many Americans — including the sitting President of the United States — have been stripped of this right by Big Tech and the Deep State.
For years, conservatives have been systematically targeted and silenced online for simply having the ‘wrong’ values and opinions. Thankfully, the Trump administration is taking action to protect your First Amendment rights — but they need your help.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) just announced that they are requesting information from the public on individual cases of censorship in an effort to finally defeat the Left’s censorship apparatus.

- The FTC is seeking specific examples of politically motivated:
- Banning or shadow banning user accounts
- Demonetization
- Deplatforming
- Banning of certain content

Anti-Family Legislation in Colorado

Colorado conservatives are fighting tooth and nail against a despicable effort (HB25-1312, the Kelly Loving Act <[link removed]>) which would forcibly remove children from loving households if the parents recognize the biological reality of their child’s sex. Let’s be clear: parents know what’s best for their child. Since Heritage Action began engaging on this bill, hundreds of thousands of emails have been sent to Colorado State Senators by conservatives like you!
You can read more about Heritage Action’s efforts to combat this bill HERE <[link removed]>, or check out the fact sheet by the Heritage Foundation <[link removed]> on this topic.

Legislative Updates from Around the Country
Indiana

States continue to make it easier to vote and harder to cheat. This week Governor Mike Braun signed SB 10 <[link removed]>, which helps combat voter fraud by preventing school IDs from being used for voting purposes, and improves voter list maintenance.

Indiana currently ranks #10 when it comes to following best practices. See how your state performs by checking out The Heritage Foundation’s Election Integrity Scorecard <[link removed]>.

Arkansas

Arkansas’s legislature wrapped up legislative work this week and sent three more conservative bills to Governor Sanders for signature.

HB 1837 <[link removed]> would ban foreign contributions to ballot issue campaigns in the state of Arkansas. This would ensure Arkansans' voices are not diluted, and decisions about Arkansas’s Constitution and laws are based on the voices of its citizens – not foreign billionaires. Legislation like this is widely popular — 78% of Americans <[link removed]> agree that foreign nationals should not be influencing our elections.
HB 1870 <[link removed]> is a key election integrity bill designed to help the state maintain their voter rolls. Specifically, it allows voter rolls to be accurately cleaned of ineligible voters (such as non-citizens) by cross-checking federal databases. Legislation like this will help strengthen election security in Arkansas.

Lastly, HB 1683 <[link removed]> pushes back against Chinese malfeasance to ensure that electric vehicles (and their components) are not produced from manufacturers that use forced or child labor in any part of their supply chain. Arkansas is leading the way in defending American jobs and American values by addressing how it procures electric vehicles, and all states should follow suit.
Have a Blessed Easter!
Lastly, we at Heritage Action would like to wish you and your family a blessed Easter Season!
