In 2024, we fought for our world's waters by:

• Working to prevent offshore oil drilling in The Bahamas and Sénégal—meeting with local fishing communities, media, and government leaders to discuss the harmful impacts of offshore drilling on the environment, local economies, and generational livelihoods.

• Equipping worldwide Waterkeeper groups to oppose fossil fuel projects and challenge ineffective climate solutions, helping them secure support from their countries for endorsing a strong Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty. 

• Participating in 17 National Environmental Policy Act submissions and protests against proposed U.S. fossil fuel lease sales in six Western states in partnership with the Federal Fossil Fuel Leasing Coalition.
