Email from Rep. Hinson Friend, As the Easter holiday approaches, I want to wish you and your family a blessed and joyous time as we celebrate the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Just as our Lord and Savior overcame the cross, Easter Sunday reminds us that even in life’s toughest moments, we’re never alone. We’re called to lean into our faith, trusting that God is working through every trial to bring redemption and purpose to his Kingdom. "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." 1 Peter 1:3 I am blessed to have a wonderful family – my two sons, Max and Jax, and my husband, Matt. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as your representative in Congress and for my faith that grounds and guides me along the way. To all who serve our nation – from men and women in uniform to our first responders – I am beyond thankful for your service and the sacrifices you make to keep Iowa and our country safe. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers this Easter season. Have a lovely Easter weekend. Best, Cerro Gordo County Town Hall Meeting Hearing from Iowans is the most important part of my job.
