When I was sworn in as Maryland’s 63rd governor, I promised we would leave no one behind.

In fact, we even emblazoned that exact saying on every sign when you enter Maryland.

But it’s clear the administration down in Washington doesn’t believe in that promise. From attacking federal public servants to raising costs for families with their tariffs, they’re not putting America first. They’re leaving Americans behind.

Regardless of what is going on in D.C., I intend to honor my promise to Marylanders.

My administration is making historic investments in education, supporting business growth and workforce development, all while ensuring 94% of Marylanders either got a tax cut or saw no change in their income taxes.

We’re confronting this challenge with courage, John, and I hope you support our mission to leave no one behind.
