Join us tomorrow as we update the chapter on committee events, projects, and campaigns.  We will also visit resolutions related to Amazon labor organizing, and give new members time to learn more about the chapter with breakout rooms and Q & A sessions.  Feel free to take a look at the agenda.

Abolish PG & E Meeting, March, and Rally!

Thursday, April 24th, All Day Starting at 10 AM

SacDSA and other members of the Reclaim our Power Coalition will be taking to the capitol and California Public Utilities Commission Meeting to make one thing clear, public utilities should be PUBLICLLY OWNED! PG&E has yet to pay for the crime against humanity that was the apocolyptic CA Wildfires.  We say no more! It's our power and we're taking it back!

 

10 AM - Meet up at 1001 I Street

11 AM - Pack the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) meeting

2:30 PM - March on the Capitol

3 PM - Rally and Press Confrence at the Capitol, 15th and L

Medicare For All! Call Your Reps!

Matsui and Bera Have So Explaining To Do!

Our healthcare committee is starting a two-week push to drive 100 phone calls to Representatives Doris Matsui and Ami Bera's offices to support Medicare for All, the legislation for universal health care. Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal is expected to introduce the new MFA bill at the end of this month. Please call Matsui or Bera today and urge them to cosponsor Medicare for All. Afterward, log your call on this form so we know how many people are calling.

May Day Mural Painting With NorCal Resist
Sunday, May 4th, 10AM - 5 PM

Join us for our May Day Celebration with Norcal Resist and other organizations as we remind the capitalist powers, WE KEEP US SAFE!  SacDSA will be there painting one of the letters of the mural our members will design. Paint and brushes will be provided, come and join us and wear something you don't mind getting paint on! ;-)
