It's Caroline, Dr. Ruiz’s finance director. I had to reach out today because our mid-month fundraising deadline is tonight at midnight.
It’s my job to make sure our team has the resources we need to support Dr. Ruiz’s fight for CA-25 in Congress, and right now, we’re $2,786 short of our $10,000 mid-month goal.

The $10,000 goal our team set out to meet by tonight is more than just a number.
It could be the difference between defending critical programs like Social Security and Medicaid or witnessing millions of Americans go without the benefits that allow them to thrive.
It could be the difference between hardworking Americans being able to put food on their tables or needing to choose between paying bills and feeding their kids.
It could be the difference between Democrats flipping the House blue and issuing a critical check on Donald Trump’s power or handing Republicans a trifecta for another two years.

The son of hardworking farmworkers, Dr. Ruiz grew up in Coachella, CA and learned at an early age that the key to attaining the American Dream is hard work and a great education. In the summer of 1990, Raul walked in the desert heat from business to business in the Coachella Valley asking them to invest in their community by contributing to his education. With each investment for college, he made a promise to come back home and serve his community as a physician. In 2012, he decided to take his service to the community to the next level by running for Congress. Dr. Ruiz needs our help to continue fighting for us in Congress.
