Dear John,
Earlier this month we sent out our Ceres Climate Pulse Check, and we would like to thank our community for sharing their concerns. The message was undeniable: the reversal of climate and clean energy policies stands out as the most pressing issue with a response rate close to 50%. At Ceres, we're not just hearing concerns—we're acting on them. |

Our commitment to accelerate the transition to a cleaner, more just, and resilient economy is stronger than ever. We are tirelessly working to: - Ensure that clean energy tax credits remain intact; providing ongoing benefits to state and local economies
- Build bipartisan support for pivotal federal policies that prioritize investments in clean energy
- Advocate for critical
state-level initiatives, including climate disclosure laws that hold businesses accountable to the highest standards
- Mobilize rapid-response campaigns that empower companies and investors to speak out against threats to climate action.
Last month, Ceres brought 80 major companies to Capitol Hill to meet with more than 100 Congressional offices in support of maintaining federal clean economy incentives. This showcased the private sector's push against policy rollbacks—and was a testament to the impact of your support in securing a prosperous, sustainable future for all.
And it’s already moving the needle: just last week, Ceres reported that a group of Republican Senators publicly backed the federal clean energy tax credits—a direct response to the powerful business voice calling for policies that drive
investment, innovation, and energy security.
John, your support can help Ceres drive significant progress, addressing sustainability challenges and advancing impactful market and policy solutions.
And for a limited time, every donation made through Earth Day will be matched, up to $50,000. This is your chance to double the impact of your support and help advance our policy goals at a critical time. | | |
Thank you for making our vital work possible.
With gratitude, | | | Anne Kelly Vice President, Government Relations Ceres | | P.S. Last week, Ceres helped stop a shocking Texas bill that would have punished companies for reporting their full emissions—even when required by law in other
states or countries. This kind of attack won’t be the last. Your gift today helps Ceres fight back—quickly, strategically, and effectively—wherever the next threat appears. | | | Ceres is a nonprofit advocacy organization working to accelerate the transition to a cleaner, more just, and
