First, I delivered a speech in Cleveland, scorching JD Vance’s 19th-century economic policies that resulted in the Great Depression.  

Vance wants to gut Medicaid, veterans’ benefits, food assistance, and education to pay for tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy. He’s ripping away the means of living – a final insult – from the very factory towns where good jobs were already shipped overseas.

Then, I traveled to Yale to deliver a speech at Vance’s alma mater, denouncing his attack on the courts and universities.  

And published my critique as an op-ed in the Washington Post.

Now, Vance’s team is calling me a "far-left socialist" for exposing him on his home turf.

But I won’t bend to a bully. I won’t stop fighting for an economy that works for working families. And I won’t give up on our U.S. Constitution and the rule of law.
