Earlier this legislative session, I testified in front of state lawmakers against SB 1085 — a bill they’re pushing to give the ultra-wealthy tax cuts for their aviation properties and allow them to receive tax write-offs for renovating their private jets.

Why did I speak out? Because Arizona cannot continue to bail out billionaires while leaving essential healthcare and education programs behind. People are fed up with lawmakers prioritizing the ultra-wealthy over hardworking Arizonans.

That’s why this past weekend, we showed up at the State Capitol to demand that lawmakers invest in kids, health, and safety — not billionaires.
