Dear John,
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and we’re calling on our community to take action to protect student survivors.
Right now, students across the country are facing violence and discrimination without the support they need. In February, the Department of Education reinstated harmful Title IX rules from the Trump era—rules that make it harder for survivors to report assault, get accommodations, and hold schools accountable.
These rollbacks put survivors, LGBTQ+ students, and students of color at even greater risk. We can’t stay silent.
This month, we’re asking you to stand up and speak out.
Join us in demanding that our representatives defend and strengthen Title IX protections because every student deserves to feel safe at school.
👉 Take action now:
When we show up together, we create change. Let’s make sure survivors are heard, protected, and supported—not pushed out of the classrooms they fought to be in.
Thank you for taking action this April and beyond.
In solidarity,
Mo Shora
