Here’s why I’m asking for $3:

* My margin of victory last year was just over 3% in a district that President Trump carried by 5%. I’m one of thirteen Democrats in the country to win in a district President Trump also won, which means far-right extremists will make me a top target.
* Our district has parts of 3 counties –Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens–each of which requires a distinct outreach strategy. That takes resources.
* The 2026 election will be our third hard-fought campaign in a 2-year stretch, including both the special and general elections last year. Especially in the ultra-expensive New York City media market, that’s a costly race to run. And I’ll need your help to win.
