John, we can’t let this slip out of the headlines: Republicans are still threatening Medicaid access for the three million North Carolinians on the program and tens of millions more across the country. Far-right politicians are hoping you’ll forget about their plan to cut taxes for the rich by cutting health care for the rest of us. They’re hoping you’ll let them get away with it.
Here in North Carolina, we spent years fighting for Medicaid Expansion to keep our rural hospitals open and make sure more of our neighbors could access the care they deserve. That’s what all our legislators should be focused on — making sure more folks can afford care, not taking that care away. Now, our entire health care system — whether you’re on Medicaid or not — is threatened because Republicans want to give millionaires and billionaires a break. Thanks for taking action, Josh Stein
