Members of Congress should serve the people, not themselves.

I was sent to Congress to fight for Rhode Islanders. My focus has not changed: working across party lines for the people of Rhode Island. That’s why I’m fighting to ban Members from trading stocks.

I am the lead sponsor of the primary bill to ban Members of Congress from trading stocks, and the need to get it passed is as urgent as ever with Trump’s manipulation of the stock market. The opportunity for corruption is just too great.

Everyday costs are high and people are struggling. To make matters worse, our president is manipulating the stock market every day, and we know his most loyal followers have no problem with corruption.

You deserve to know that your elected officials are working hard to make things better, not to put more money in their own pockets. If you agree, will you chip in now to help me stop the opportunity for corruption before it’s too late?
