Denver, Colorado: The city clerk’s office found that enough of the signatures submitted by those looking to overturn the flavored tobacco law were valid, which will allow voters to directly vote on a ballot initiative on flavored tobacco in November.

Multnomah County, Oregon: The Oregon Court of Appeals upheld Multnomah County's law ending the sale of flavored tobacco products, finding that it is not preempted by state law. The ruling follows last year’s Court of Appeals ruling upholding a similar law in Washington County.

Minnesota: Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison announced that a Ramsey County court has entered an order that bans High Light Vapes, along with its owner and a related entity, from doing business in Minnesota. The lawsuit alleged that High Light Vapes engaged in e-sales of e-cigarettes that mimic highlighters and are designed to be easily concealable and usable by school-age children.
