Easter and America: Reflecting on Faith and History
I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. [John 11:25] Easter is celebrated across the world as one of the most significant Christian holy days. Each year Christians gather to remember the great sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and more importantly the ultimate triumph of His resurrection. Across the centuries of American history, our leaders have regularly shared the hope that Easter and the resurrection of Jesus brings to all aspects of our daily lives. |
