Today marks the day that Jesus of Nazareth was crucified, an event that would change the course of history and serve as the ultimate demonstration of God's love for humanity.
In the face of unimaginable suffering, Jesus demonstrated unwavering devotion to our salvation. His crucifixion serves as a powerful reminder of God's unrelenting love for us.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
As we honor Jesus' sacrifice, we're reminded that our lives have a purpose beyond our own interests. We're called to follow in His footsteps, serving others with humility and compassion.
"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." (Mark 10:45)
On this Good Friday, let us take time to remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for us, and commit to living lives of service and compassion. May we never forget the love that God has for us, and may we strive to share that love with others every day.
God bless you and your family this Easter season.
Sincerely,
Vice President Mike Pence |
