Have you applied yet for URGE’s Sex Ed for All Content Fest? 👀 If you haven’t, no worries! There’s still some time left. The deadline to submit your digital content proposal is 4/21 at 11:59pm PT.  |
In case you missed our first call for applications, you can find all the details below:Â |
URGE’s Sex Ed for All Content Fest is a week of digital advocacy for sexual education that celebrates and centers LGBTQIA+ inclusive curriculum. We’re offering funding to creative young people for video and other digital content that shares information on why comprehensive, LGBTQIA+ inclusive sexual education is important to ensure that all young people, regardless of their gender or sexual identity, feel seen, heard, and supported through curriculum. |
This opportunity is open to people ages 18-30. Priority will be given to those who live or go to school in one of URGE’s investment states (Alabama, California, Georgia, Kansas, Ohio, & Texas). Priority will also be given to young people who identify as LGBTQIA+. |
Too often, young people’s voices go unheard on important issues that impact us, including sexual education curriculum. URGE’s Sex Ed for All Content Fest is not only a way to advocate for this timely policy issue, but it’s also a PAID opportunity! Now more than ever, we need young people to stand up for sex ed that is destigmatizing, inclusive, and does not treat the LGBTQIA+ community as an aside.Â

Don’t forget, the deadline to apply for this amazing opportunity is April 21 at 11:59pm PT! |
