Hi, team — there are only 21 weeks left to go before Election Day, and I have a few big updates to share with you this week:

1. Lizzie spoke at the Texas Democrats’ “Virtual” Convention.  She emphasized the coalition of organizers, volunteers, policy experts, strategists, fundraisers, and messengers that played such a key part in her 2018 win, and will deliver wins across Texas in 2020.  Even without a crowded convention floor, Texas Democrats are making noise and showing the rest of the country how to innovate —and win— in 2020.

2. Last Friday, our team joined Everytown for Gun Safety and folks all over the country in wearing orange to recognize National Gun Violence Awareness Day.  Lizzie is committed to common-sense gun safety reform to end the violence devastating our communities, and we’re proud to have Everytown’s endorsement.

3. The extreme anti-choice group Susan B. Anthony List endorsed our opponent Wesley Hunt, and the group’s super PAC is pouring thousands of dollars into our race to support him.  Lizzie is a tireless champion for women’s reproductive freedom and health care — that’s one of the many reasons I’m proud to be working alongside all of you to re-elect Lizzie in November.

Issues like gun safety and reproductive freedom are on the line this year.  It’s going to take all of us working together to secure another victory for TX-07 in November, so Lizzie can continue her fight in Congress. As always, thank you for being a dedicated member of #TeamLizzie!
