Can you believe that President Trump is waging an attack on our important and beloved postal service?

The U.S. Postal Service and their workers have an absolutely critical role to play during this pandemic: ensuring our democracy is literally carried on.

In addition to delivering our medications, keeping us connected to our friends, and supporting our businesses, the Postal Service is now a key backbone for Americans to vote safely during the coronavirus pandemic.

Donald Trump says mail-in voting is "corrupt"--even though he does it himself. We know that just means he's afraid if everyone votes, he'll lose. So he's said that he would rather see the USPS go bankrupt during this crisis than work with Congress to guarantee emergency funding for the Postal Service.

Add your name to the movement: Save the U.S. Postal Service.

Here's the unsettling truth: without congressional action, our federal postal system will run out of funding this summer and potentially be forced to shut down.

The Postal Service going under would be devastating for the entire country. For many Americans, the Postal Service is a vital connection to the world. And that doesn't even begin to account for the hundreds of thousands of hardworking Americans it employs, the families that are counting on these jobs to put food on the table.

That's why we must do everything to ensure the USPS remains strong and vibrant--starting with building the movement we need right now to save the Postal Service.

Sign the petition: We must save the U.S. Postal Service.
