Arizona just got a HUGE assist from the Trump Administration on the border.
We are SO grateful to the President for prioritizing the safety of Arizonans. Arizona NEEDS to do more to help him secure the border and deport the illegals! ([link removed])
The latest action by the Administration is a big one.
President Trump has just authorized the U.S. MILITARY to take control of federal land along the southern border.
The "Roosevelt Reservation" is a 60-foot wide area of Federal land along the border across California, Arizona and New Mexico. And Trump just gave it to the Defense Department to make it into a military installation, to defend our border.
AZ Central has this:
President Donald Trump authorized the transfer of federal public lands along the U.S.-Mexico border, known as the Roosevelt Reservation, to the military to designate as “National Defense Areas,” according to a memo signed April 11.
The latest White House effort enables the Department of Defense to have jurisdiction over a 60-foot-wide strip that runs along the international boundary line from California through Arizona into New Mexico, which the Interior Department had managed. The area will be treated as Defense Department property, meaning individuals found on the land could be subject to detention and legal action.

The memo said that the secretaries of Defense, Homeland Security, Agriculture and the Interior will “initially implement this memorandum on a limited sector of federal lands designated by the secretary of defense.”
Only a section of the Roosevelt Reservation in New Mexico, east of Fort Huachuca, will be used by the Defense Department to test the transfer of jurisdiction for the next 45 days, the Associated Press reported. The Army said it would put up additional fencing and markers warning people not to trespass.
The Trump administration’s transfer of federal land to the Defense Department is a historic first in modern American history, in an effort to reinforce security at the southern border.
“Symbolically, it puts the military right in the center of immigration enforcement,” said William Banks, a professor emeritus at Syracuse University College of Law who has studied and written about the use of the military in the U.S. interior.
Anyone crossing our border will now have to face the U.S. Military! This is what the Roosevelt Reservation was for: Defending our country.

Democrat Senators go to El Salvador to try to RE-IMPORT violent gang member illegals into our country, and Democrat Gov. Katie Hobbs has done NOTHING but impede ICE efforts in Arizona and make it easier for illegals here.
NOT ACCEPTABLE.
