John, it looks like my recent town hall got under Donald Trump’s skin.
The White House rapid response team, which doubles as state-run propaganda, decided to put me “on blast” for acknowledging that I’m doing my job.
This actually isn’t a secret… I’m part of the Democrats’ Litigation and Rapid Response Task Force aimed at stopping Trump’s most brazenly illegal and unconstitutional actions. They can find me every week if they’d like to.
Our fight is transparent and public — unlike DOGE’s runaway cuts to lifesaving services.
I know the risks of opposing Trump and Musk’s illegal actions. The threat of retaliation by this administration is uniquely very real.
But in these moments, that cannot matter.
We are the equal mechanism our Constitution created to hold runaway power accountable. We won’t stop making sure this administration acts within the law.
So yes, I will keep organizing no matter how many times the Trump administration and their online mobs come after me - because our Constitution matters.
I’ve never let the right-wing attacks stop me, and I don’t plan on doing so now. But I can’t take them on alone. Nobody can. It’s going to take a movement. So I need to know if you’re with me.
