What I’m seeing in Congress right now is unacceptable. Trump’s economic policies are a disaster for the country and the world — and not one single Republican is standing up to him.
Instead, they’re falling in line and remaining silent. They are letting Trump drag our economy into chaos with his self-serving economic agenda, no matter what it costs to the people we are meant to serve.
But I will never back down from the fight for NM-02’s working families.
Just last week, I partnered with Sen. Cory Booker to introduce legislation to hold Elon Musk accountable for the damage DOGE cuts have done to New Mexico’s farmers and ranchers.
We need to do everything we can to send a clear message to Trump and the GOP: The people of New Mexico will not stand by. Not now, not ever.
