The SAVE Act was fast-tracked by opponents of voting rights and passed the U.S. House of Representatives. This bill is a stunning assault on our fundamental right to vote, and we can not afford to let this anti-democratic legislation become law, John.

Don’t be fooled by the name. This bill would force every voter to present proof of citizenship to register -- something millions of eligible Americans don’t have on hand. And that’s the point.
