This is just a daily reminder that we are in a battle of good versus evil! The events at the Texas Capitol on the day before Good Friday made that abundantly clear.

Shamefully, some members of the Texas House decided to kick off the Easter weekend by honoring Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood from 2006 to 2018. Millions of abortions were performed on her watch, and our political leaders want to honor her on the House Floor.

This is disgusting on its own. Even worse, this resolution was placed on a calendar that honored many other worthy individuals who recently passed. 

Jill Glover was one. An incredible Christian woman, Jill fought for her fellow Texans every day, especially our most innocent. Our dear friend advocated for legislation to protect children from gender mutilation and save babies from abortion.

Make no mistake! This attempt to honor our friend Jill side by side with the president of Planned Parenthood was intentional, and it was allowed by Republican House Leadership!

Thankfully, true conservatives stood up to oppose the calendar that honored the famed abortion advocate. After a lengthy debate, the calendar was sent back to the committee. Neither woman was honored.

My dear Texans, we cannot stand for this in our state! I can’t explain why any Republican would celebrate the woman who was in charge of Planned Parenthood.

However, I can tell you that True Texas Project will call them out! We are committed to saving the State of Texas, and we will not allow our precious Lone Star State to be hijacked by those who celebrate murder.
