FIRST:

Donald Trump signed a SWEEPING Executive Order that attacks vote-by-mail, jeopardizes voting rights for millions of Americans – including active duty military members serving overseas and married women – and makes it harder for states to run their own free and fair elections. We’re suing the Trump administration to challenge it.

THEN:

The House passed the SAVE Act, a major voter suppression measure that could disenfranchise over 70 million people by making it more difficult for active voters – both Republicans AND Democrats – to participate in elections and erecting unprecedented barriers for new voters! This law could even disenfranchise over 60 million married women who have changed their last names.

NOW:

Democrats nationwide are sounding the alarm about this blatant assault on our democracy – and there’s still time to stop Republicans’ attacks. This bill may have passed the House, but the Senate still needs to vote on it – and we have to show them we won’t stand for attacks on our voting rights.

That’s why we’re asking for 15,000 signatures this evening to show that Americans everywhere OPPOSE the GOP’s extreme voter suppression scheme!
