Our democracy depends on ending billionaire and corporate control of our political system.

Justice Democrats

John,

In a democracy, every person should have an equal voice in their government. But billionaires and corporations have never accepted that the working class deserves an equal voice to theirs, and they’re spending billions to rig the system in their favor and grow their power in Washington.

The Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision in 2010 opened the floodgates by ruling that corporations have the same rights as people and letting the 1% skirt campaign contribution limits and flood our political system with cash through dark money super PACs.

In 2024 alone, just 100 billionaire families spent a staggering $2.6 billion to influence our elections. That’s more than one in every six dollars spent in all federal races last year — and that doesn’t even include dark money funneled through super PACs!

It’s time to get billionaire money out of politics for good: add your name if you agree!

Just look at Elon Musk, the richest man in the world: he dropped $278 million to help re-elect Donald Trump, and has since been rewarded with an unprecedented level of control over federal policy, including targeting regulatory agencies meant to regulate him.

To end corporate and billionaire control of our political system, we must:

Organized people CAN beat organized money. Add your name to tell Congress: get billionaire money out of politics — our democracy depends on it.

Add Your Name

In solidarity,

Justice Democrats
