This year’s election isn’t just about choosing our next Attorney General. It’s about defending the future of abortion rights in the Commonwealth.

As Commonwealth’s Attorney, I promised to never prosecute anyone for seeking an abortion, nor their doctors for providing one. That’s why EMILYs List, the largest national organization committed to electing pro-choice women, endorses my campaign.

Across the country, states and localities are cracking down on patients for seeking reproductive healthcare and doctors for providing it.

Alabama’s Attorney General recently charged an organization for recommending out-of-state travel to a woman seeking an abortion. Their state legislature also proposed a measure to equate abortion with murder in the eyes of the law.

In Texas, a doctor is currently facing possible jail time for providing reproductive healthcare. These stories paint a grim picture of what our Commonwealth may face if we don’t take action NOW.
