** ATF Personnel Changes
------------------------------------------------------------
In May, ATF announced several key personnel changes, including some that pertain to NFA:
* Alphonso Hughes, former NFA Division Chief, is now Assistant Director for ATF's Office of Enforcement Programs and Services (EPS). EPS oversees the NFA Division.
* Steven Rosenthal, former Director of Industry Operations (DIO) at the Miami field division, is now Division Chief of NFA.

We at ASA are excited for the opportunity to once again work with Director Hughes as he begins in his new role at EPS. We are also eager to meet and begin working with Steven Rosenthal as he takes over the NFA Division.

ASA's priority remains the implementation of more efficient processing solutions for NFA items. No law abiding citizen should have to wait any amount of time to purchase any NFA item. We look forward to working with the new leadership to generate shorter transfer times for all.

** H.R. 6126 - End the Normalized Delay of Suppressor Act of 2020
------------------------------------------------------------
When Rep. Greg Steube's (R-FL-17) bought his first suppressor, it took over a year for ATF to process the transfer. That's why he introduced H.R. 6126 ([link removed][UNIQID]) : a bill that will cap ATF transfer times on suppressors at 90 days.

Stand with ASA and Rep. Steube and tell your elected officials that you support H.R. 6126!
